Burbank Airport - BUR

BUR is about 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles (about a 20-minute drive, depending on traffic). Public transportation is within easy access of the airport, including Metrolink (Mon-Fri only) and Amtrak, which have a combined station within walking distance of the main terminal building. The airport also is a stop on MTA bus lines and the City of Burbank bus, which connects with downtown Burbank and the Metro Red Line in North Hollywood.

Public/Ground Transfer

Metrolink

This rail service has a station at BUR. It's just one stop away from downtown Burbank and two stops from L.A.'s Union Station. The service runs Monday through Friday. Fares vary depending on your destination, but cost about $5.25 one-way into L.A.'s Union Station. Seniors and disabled passengers can get reduced fares. The trip takes about 25-30 minutes.

Amtrak

The Amtrak station at Burbank Airport is not staffed; tickets can be purchased on the train or online at Amtrak.
